Privacy Policy

To pre-qualify and process a financing application, we may collect:

• Business information — legal business name, address, entity type, industry, time in business, and EIN.
• Owner and contact information — name, email, phone, date of birth, home address, and Social Security Number.
• Financial documents you upload — tax returns, bank statements, identification, and credit reports.
• Point-of-sale sales data — when you connect Clover (or another account), we read your merchant profile and sales history on a read-only basis to estimate pre-qualification.
• Technical data — basic device, log, and usage information.

We use this information to:

• Estimate what your business may pre-qualify for.
• Build and route your application to independent lending partners for underwriting.
• Communicate with you about your application.
• Detect fraud, secure the Service, and comply with applicable law.

We do not sell your information. We share it only as needed to provide the Service:

• Lending partners receive your application and documents so they can underwrite and, if approved, fund you directly. Their use of your information is governed by their own privacy policies.
• Service providers that host, secure, or operate the Service on our behalf, under confidentiality obligations.
• Legal and safety — when required by law or to protect rights, safety, or the integrity of the Service.

Konnecs Originate does not lend money or move funds. Lending partners disburse approved funds directly to the merchant.

We access your Clover data only on a read-only basis and only for pre-qualification and your application. We do not modify your point-of-sale settings, process payments, or move money. You can disconnect at any time, and you may revoke access from Clover.

Sensitive identifiers and tokens are encrypted at rest (AES-256-GCM) and data is transmitted over encrypted connections (TLS). Access is limited to what is needed to operate the Service.

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Service, support your application with lending partners, and meet legal, tax, and recordkeeping obligations. You may request deletion as described below; some records may be retained where required by law.

Subject to applicable law, you may request to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or ask questions about how it is used. To make a request, email hello@konnecs.com.

The Service is for business use by adults (18+) and is not directed to children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above.
